Budget friendly studio with full amenities close to Ondarreta Beach. The only objection is the bed which is very small for two people. Online check-in is meaningless as you must do another at the reception!!

Hotel is 5 min walk from the beach and about 30 min walk from the old town. Walk to old town is very enjoyable along the beach. Where are no good restaurants or bars around the hotel, need to drive or walk to the old city. Room was a little small, but balcony was huge and overlooking city and bay. Very good breakfast, nice garage, which need to be reserved in advance as space is limited. Staff is very helpful.

easy check in despite no reception at point of arrival, good room, only snag was not enough plugs: one euro & one American plug by the bed not helpful for euro travellers as do not carry a US plug so charging awkward. otherwise perfect stay

Nous avons séjourné quatre nuits dans cet hôtel lors de notre visite à San Sebastián. L’hôtel est bien situé, à environ 20 minutes de marche de la vieille ville. Le quartier est agréable et compte plusieurs excellents restaurants, souvent moins achalandés que ceux du centre. Le gros point négatif concerne notre chambre, qui dégageait une très forte odeur d’égouts, accentuée lorsque la climatisation fonctionnait. L’odeur était si intense qu’elle nuisait réellement à notre confort. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, mais l’hôtel était complet et cela n’a pas été possible. Nous avons alors demandé une compensation financière en raison des désagréments, en mentionnant que nous envisagions même de changer d’hôtel. Malheureusement, nous n’avons obtenu une réponse qu’à la toute fin de notre séjour. La seule compensation offerte a été une réduction de 10 %. Au moment d’écrire cet avis, aucun remboursement n’a toutefois été effectué. Il reste donc à voir si cette compensation sera réellement appliquée. C’est décevant, car un problème aussi important aurait mérité une prise en charge plus rapide et un geste commercial plus significatif.

My first complaint is with the quality of beds , they are the cheapest kind, the hotel tried to address my complaint by putting a mattress topper on but it just made it worse. Secondly the towels that were given to us were stained with dried blood , not good by any standard ! The breakfast is great if you’re wanting a cold fruit and a bit of cake, but for £24 I’d expect something hot other than eggs . The location is ok but you need a car to see San Sebastián and its surroundings . Lastly we paid for spa access but for all £250 extra for 3 nights there was never anybody in the reception and no directions. Just a waste of money as is breakfast
